Tomorrow is the first day of winter and today I bought a silly pair of earmuffs from Daiso to keep me warm. I don’t know if I’m game enough to wear them outside of the house yet though. Still, they are pretty good.

This week I don’t have to work much so I get to do heaps of productive stuff and hangout with new buds and even though I’m back on Facebook it’s okay because I think my brain is finally starting to understand the word moderation. Cue more photos from NZ…

If you’ve read my older entries, you would have read the one about me taking a trip to NZ in January. I wasn’t born there, but my mother (pictured below having her shoes shined) and her entire family were. I even have a tiny bit of Maori in my blood. Basically the trip was to say hi to the fam as I hadn’t been over in a few years and here are some photos I took at the same time.

Oh man.

Every now and then I like to dedicate posts to my good pals who keep me sane. This is a photo of Finn and I, taken by the lovely Al. Finn convinced me to go out last week and have an excellent time even though I didn’t think this was possible. Whenever I smile with my gums showing like that it usually means I’m a really happy dude.
